The Multi Cultural Queer+ Association envisions a future where our Organization has the leadership to fulfill its purpose to help the Greater Cleveland Community in creating a world where all can reach there full potential.

Vision

"Empowering Diversity, Celebrating Unity: Our organization stands as a beacon of support and advocacy for individuals within the LGBTQ+ community who face rejection and exclusion due to their sexual orientation, gender identity, or cultural background. Through education, outreach, and community-building initiatives, we strive to create a safe and inclusive space where all voices are heard, all identities are respected, and all individuals are empowered to embrace their true selves without fear or discrimination. Together, we champion diversity, celebrate unity, and foster a world where love and acceptance prevail."

Mission

To help those entity such as Latinos, Hispanic, People of Color as well other immigrants that identify as Queer+. We are dedicated to assisting all people across the queer spectrum and wants to provide a safe space for those that do not have a strong support system at home or no support at all. We focus on the disparities among people of color and particularly those from other countries that do not know english or not well enough to find work. We like to on the disparities among trans Identifying people providing the same level of assistance and focusing on gender affirming care as well. The assistance we intend to provide for these individuals will come in the form of housing, assistance with job search/preparing for job interviews, clothing, mental health service, Medical assistance\\ and other forms of aid. Our goal is to help others Organizations like LGBTQIA+, the Afro-Americans Alliance, Hispanic Alliance as well helping others organizations making sure all those entities aren’t left behind.

Building strong communities through collaboration to provide a basic for positive change.

We are committed to a strong ethic of timely, reliable service to nonprofits of all sizes and types in all 88 counties of Ohio. We strive to create an environment in which nonprofit practitioners feel heard, safe, respected, and supported.

We help nonprofits to be effective in achieving their missions and accountable to all their stakeholders – their community, constituents, donors, board, staff, volunteers, collaborators, and the government. We believe in modeling this trustworthiness and integrity that earns continuously the public’s high regard for the nonprofit sector.

We believe it is important to recognize the value of nonprofits’ work by investing in their organizations and their people. This includes providing learning opportunities for volunteers and staff, as well as compensation and benefits that are adequate to sustain staff members and their families.

We believe that the nonprofit sector is enriched by the breadth of its scope within its social good purpose; and we believe that this social good purpose calls on nonprofit organizations to embrace diversity, inclusion, and equity in deep and transformative ways. Role in Our Society

A strong, independent nonprofit sector is essential for weaving the social, cultural, environmental, and economic fabric of our society. It provides needed services, gives people a way to participate as citizens and volunteers, stands up for underrepresented citizens, and pioneers solutions to major social problems. To fulfill these roles, the nonprofit sector must defend nonprofits’ fundamental right to advocate and lobby for their constituents and causes.
